​​The Jessie Feliz Learning Center is proud to now accept the Michigan DHS Child Care Scholarship, making our programs more accessible to families in our community.

If your family qualifies for DHS child care assistance, your child may attend at no cost.​

Jessie Feliz Afterschool Program

Looking for a safe, fun and enriching space for your child (ages 5-12) after school?


The Jessie Feliz Afterschool Program blends learning, laughter, and creativity - offering joyful, holistic educational experiences that support the whole child.​​​​

Now enrolling for April!

Beginning the first week of April, the Jessie Feliz Learning Center will offer two days of afterschool enrichment programming each week: Tuesdays and Thursdays.

​

Families may choose between class-only enrollment or extended care with enrichment.

​

Students are welcome to arrive early for a safe, relaxed afterschool environment that includes homework help, creative free time, and a healthy afternoon snack.

Tuesday Program
Spanish Immersion

Tuesdays are dedicated to Spanish language learning through movement, games, and conversation.

Students will build vocabulary, confidence, and listening skills in a joyful and engaging environment.

​

Program Options:

Spanish Class Only 

  • 5:00-6:00 PM 

  • $25 per month​

​​

Extended Care + Spanish Class 

  • 4:00-6:00 PM 

  • $50 per month

  • Includes snack, homework help and creative free time before class

​​

Spanish Class begins at 5 PM for all students. Parents are also welcome to drop students off at 5:00 PM if they are only attending the class.

Thursday Program
Creative Enrichment

Thursdays are our creative exploration day, where students engage in hands-on activities that include:

  • Spanish and ASL exploration

  • Art and creative expression

  • Dance and movement

  • Cooking experiences

  • Cultural Learning activities

Each week offers something new to spark curiosity and creativity.

​

Program Options:

Enrichment Class Only

  • 5:00-6:00 PM 

  • $25 per month

Extended Care + Enrichment

  • 4:00-6:00 PM

Enrichment programming begins at 5:00 PM.

A Note for Families

Our spring afterschool schedule is intentionally smaller as we prepare for expanded programming this summer. This allows us to provide high-quality, personalized enrichment experiences for every student we serve.
