Jessie Feliz Learning Center
Welcome to the

A place where every mind and body can thrive.
We are proud to officially announce the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of the Jessie Feliz Learning Center on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. While we’ve spent the past months hosting soft openings and pilot programming, this moment marks the beginning of our fully licensed, fully open learning center serving children, families, and the Brightmoor community.
A Three-Year Journey - Now Home
For years, Jessie Feliz Learning Center programming has lived in schools, community spaces, and partner sites across Michigan and beyond. Through collaborations with community partners and school districts, our work has reached hundreds of children through Spanish-language education, enrichment programming, and culturally responsive learning experiences.
Today, we are grateful to finally open the doors to our own brick-and-mortar space - a joyful, welcoming home where learning, movement, language, and love come together every day.
Supporting Families Through DHS Child Care Scholarships
We are now approved to accept the DHS Child Care Scholarship, allowing qualifying families to access our afterschool programs, summer programs, and out-of-school-time enrichment at little to no cost. This milestone allows us to more fully support working families and ensure that high-quality, joyful learning experiences are accessible to all.
What We Offer
At the Jessie Feliz Learning Center, our programming is rooted in five core pillars:
Literacy • Languages • Movement • Discovery • Love
Our offerings include:

Every experience is designed to nurture curiosity, confidence, connection, and joy.
Our Founder
Founded by Jessie Feliz, educator and lead facilitator, the Learning Center reflects over 20 years of teaching experience across public, private, urban, suburban, and international settings. Jessie’s work is grounded in a simple but powerful belief:
Do not limit children - equip them.
With an incredible team of educators and community partners, she is honored to bring this vision to life in Brightmoor.
Designed With Intention
We are deeply grateful to our design partner, Interior Objective, for helping bring the vision of the Jessie Feliz Learning Center to life.
What began as a hand-drawn concept - rooted in joy, movement, and accessibility - has now become a vibrant, welcoming learning space for children and families. From the initial sketch to the finished environment, Interior Objective helped translate our values into a physical space that supports creativity, regulation, and connection.
We are proud to share the journey from vision to reality, and thankful for partners who believe that learning environments matter.

Looking Ahead
We are excited for all that’s ahead - expanded programming, deeper community partnerships, and continued opportunities for children and families to grow, learn, and thrive together.
If you feel moved to support this work, donations of any size help us continue building joyful, accessible learning experiences for our community.
Thank you for celebrating this moment with us!
